Orton-Gillingham Method for Reading Orton-Gillingham is a multisensory, structured, sequential, cumulative, cognitive, and flexible approach to language instruction. As a language based program, it is adaptable to specific students needs. It is a philosophy more than just a system to teach children how to read. Language Based Multisensory
Association Method Instruction The Association Method is an instructional strategy used to increase the understanding and use of oral language, improve articulation, and teach reading and written composition skills. This systematic, incremental approach is multisensory and phonetically-based. It has been proven to be effective with hearing impaired, language-disordered, and dyslexic children. This approach has also recently been successfully adapted to teach children with autism.
Tutoring Services and Reading Therapy Our experienced academic specialists can help with a wide range of tutoring subjects and student ages. Additionally, we offer integrated language and reading therapy provided by a speech-language therapist specialized in this area. |
